1986 - Characteristics of Jesuit Education
Full title: "Go Forth and Teach: The Characteristics of Jesuit Education." In September of 1980 a small international group, Jesuit and lay, came together in Rome to discuss several important issues concerning Jesuit secondary education. The delegates at the Rome meeting recommended the establishment of a permanent international group to consider questions related to secondary education, and urged that one of the first responsibilities of this group be to clarify the ways in which the vision of Ignatius continues to make Jesuit secondary education distinctive today. This document contains the Commission's findings.

General Congregations

2008 - General Congregation 35
From 7 January to 6 March of 2008, the Society of Jesus celebrated the General Congregation 35. After the election of Fr. Adolfo Nicolas as new Father General, the Congregation, during two months, was debating different issues related with the mission, the structure, and the identity of the Society.
